El Espectador 810 AM is a pioneering radio station in Uruguay, broadcasting from Montevideo. Founded in 1922, it is considered the first radio station in the country. The station primarily focuses on news, sports, and entertainment programming.

Throughout its history, El Espectador has been at the forefront of radio broadcasting in Uruguay. It was the first to transmit a sports event in 1922 and became the first Uruguayan radio to broadcast on the internet in 1995.
