Emisoras Unidas is a prominent radio network in Guatemala, founded in 1964 by Edgar Archila Marroquín and Francisco Rolando Archila Marroquín. It began with the station "La Voz de la Costa Sur" in the department of Retalhuleu. Today, Emisoras Unidas has grown into a multimedia group, operating 57 radio stations, two free newspapers, an outdoor advertising company, and a cable television channel (now defunct).
The network's flagship station, Emisoras Unidas 89.7 FM, broadcasts from Guatemala City and is known for its news and sports coverage. Its slogan is "Primera en noticias, primera en deportes" (First in news, first in sports). The station offers a diverse programming lineup that includes national and international news, sports coverage, and content catering to a young adult audience.
